Default nterchangable parts...?

I dont know if this is the right forum so please excuse me if I'm wrong. Is the A/C from any other hyundai model interchangable with the tiburon? I've found some from junkyards for as little as $15 for accents elantras etc...Also....are the 2nd gen tibs A/c compressor interchangable with the '98?

if you have a 1.8L tib, the AC from a 1.8L elantra would be the same.

If you have a 2.0L tib, the AC from a 2.0L 1999 or 2000 elantra would be the same.

I'm not 100% sure that the 2001 elantra's use the same AC compressor, so if you can, stick to the years listed above.

You can use https://dcsonline.hyundaidealer.com/customer/index.jsp to find part numbers. Look up the part numbers for the AC compressor for your car, and then for the other year/model that the AC compressor comes off of.
