Default Now that the tuscani is out

ok so now that the 2.7L V6 is out for the tuscani is it going to be easier to drop that engine into the tib, considering that the tuscani can hold both the beta and the v6?

I was thinking the same thing.
Was also gonna drop that 6-speed tranny in there.

Just a word of warning. The 6 speed ONLY bolts up to the V6. It is NOT available on the 2.0L.

So...you are looking at a motor swap AND a tranny swap. Hell, you might as well sell your current Tiburon at a loss and buy a new Tuscani.

I can't wait to see what tuning parts the Koreans put out for it!

Can't blame a guy for dreaming...

Do you think they'd let me trade in for a Tuscani?
My is on lease though.

What do they do if you are in middle of your financing term and you want to trade up? (I know the isn't the right forum, but *shrug*)

What makes you think that it'd be easier to swap in the Delta 2.7L V6 now that it's in the Tuscani? What makes you think the Tuscani is so much like the current Tib? I highly doubt the motor mounts will line up, but if they do, what makes you think it'd go in as simple bolt-in affair and have enough room to operate?

Anyway, you'd be better off turboing the 2.0L Beta in the Tib now. You'd save A LOT of money and be A LOT faster.

After looking at the engine bay of the Tuscani, it's so packed! like those in the new Mercedes. It also comes with a strut tower bar. Doesn't look like you can put any turbo or supercharger in it. The interior is so much like a family car than a race car. My 97 Coupe still looks better than a 2001 Tuscani.

Actually if you take all that plastic covering crap off, it has more room than the current Tib.
