I have the Vitek wires in my tibby for 1 and a half and had no problems with them.Tey are 8.5mm and my valve cover just barely fit.The only problem i had with the wires was trying to push them in the clips that hold te wires down,as these wires are thicker

wow 2unique.. werent you selling a set?
lol

Anyways...

So whats the point of upgrading wires?

I know aftermarket (well some) wires last longer... but why?

They dont increase performance.. so why do people buy them?
Better spark?
Im guessing nitrous and turbo users will be the only ones that benefit from this...

Why the hell do most people do this as their first "performance mod"

WTF?!?!?

BTW... im going with stock wires on my 300whp setup tongue.gif

The point of upgrading plugs and wires is to get as much spark to the combustion chamber. They provide more spark, and a more intense spark over there stock counterparts. Your burning more fuel (fuel that is normally unburnt), and getting better MPG and performance, but no HP/Tourqe.

so no hp/torque but it does give performance...?
so if it doesn't give you more hp/torque then what kinda performance you talking about. does it make the car handle better........
