Whats the part called that needs to be replaced once the speed tach and odometer stop working on a 99 tib?

That's a pretty vauge question man.

Tachometer, speedometer, instrument cluster, speed sensor, ECU.... am i getting close?

The speedometer...I couldnt thiink of the word, I dont know why. cool.gif
Anyways, the speedometer and the odometer stopped working. Same thing happened when I had my tib. I just forget what the part is called.

Probably the little gear that goes into the tranny to send the signal to the speedo.

My dad was playing around with the fuses because the wipers stopped working. Then when I turned the car on and drove off I noticed the speedometer and odometer werent working...

Do you know which fuses might be to blame?

I've had my cluster loose before and the gauges stopped working.

Check fuse 10. The speed sensor is not the problem. It must be fuse 10.

I just re-read the symptoms. Is the speedometer the only one that does not work, or is it the speedometer and tachometer?

My odometer hasnt worked for the past 2 years. I dont know how much mileage my car really has 02.gif I think I checked the fuses though, since thats what I was gonna suggest for you to do. Other than that I dont know.
