I was on my way to work and noticed my car is dogging of the line even driving normaly, and the car was idleing high in all my lower gears. I tried to turn off the o/d and it acted the same way.

I have a 01 Tib auto with only 66k on it.

Other then the low power off the line, the car is acting like the o/d is not kicking in even with the switch on.

I am going to look into the power off the line furthur but any ideas on the O?D I have only had this car 2 weeks, and so far needed to do a full break job all around, track down a problem with the o/d switch not even working(was only a fuse), now this, I love my Tib, but damn, makes me want to almost go back to DSM's

Any help would be great.

As a newbie to this forum, I want to say I have been a member of a lot of great forums, but this is by far one of the best. Other then DSMtuners which has been a round for a long time, I have never met so many intelligent and willing to help people as this forum. So as a newbie to Hyundai's I wanted to say Thanks

Get a manual, the auto is worthless...

Other than that, reset your ECU (disconnect battery, stomp on brakes or open the door or something) or your TPS is bad ($25 from the auto parts store).

If your saying you dont think that the O/D is coming on i would check the switch first to test it. I don't have an auto but i don't think its that hard to get to the switch. I know foxxy changed her shifter knob and was having problem with the wiring so she may know how to get to the switch better.

I drove the car again to show a friend of mine who is more mechanicly inclined then I am, and the car drove fine with the o/d off, but when I turned it on, the car acted like it was in nuetral and If I reved the engine a couple times it would kick in, then go back into a nuetral state.

Ok, on my lunch break I replaced the fuse for the O/D switch put some auto trans fluid enhancer, and reset the ECU. Now the car will drive fine on o/d except one thing, I can not get into high gear with or without o/d.
