Does anyone know where i can get a 6-speed 2001 tranny from korea since they made them over there.

HOw much would it be and what other parts/modifications would i need to do it?

if you dont know anything about transmissions... i wouldnt venture down this road. i am not completely sure but i dont think that the tranny will even fit the RD2.

no ur misunderstanding...there was a 6speed made for rd's in Korea but not the US...just wondering how i can get one and what else, if anything ill need

thanks redz just did...i want it because i do a lot of highway driving and i need an entire new tranny soon neways so why not?

it would be a great mod to make my tibby special...or its my way of trying to copy hondas going jdm joke.gif

well man ill tell you this it will be VERY expensive

pretty much it would be a brand new trans plus you would need a different linkage as im sure the one you have now probably wouldnt work

and now imagine shipping a good 200 lbs (if not more) across the ocean....

a trans out here is like 2200 for a reman and thats for the 5 speed

your probably lookin like 3k for all the parts required and who knows if the clutches are the same....
