New Clutch - Question Regarding Engagement

Got a new clutch put in yesterday. The pedal feels soooo much easier to push down its great, only problem is i would have thought my engagement point would be about half way to the floor, but it is still right at the top, a little press of the pedal and the clutch is disengaged. If im taking off, i have to let the pedal come all the way up to over 3/4 before it engages.

Any ideas? The guy assured me it was a new clutch, im just concerned.

My Exedy HD clutch does that too & has always done it. My OEM clutch did too. You'll get used to it.

Mine has to be 90% out to engage and its brand new Bully stage 3. My stage 2 was about 60% out for it to engage.

Generally most people adjust them so the engagement point is at the top.

I've always been told to adjust it so its at the top to decrease clutch wear.
