I need some good pics of the timing system. I know how to time everything just have a lot of pieces from getting the motor done and I forgot the right order. Havent found pics that help me yet. I need just pics from straight on and the side to see what goes behind each pulley. Thanks.

Beta 1 or 2 should be fine. Mine is Beta 2 but I think 1 is identical. Thanks

On the crank? From memory it's timing gear, timing cover, little round timing gear cover, pulley, washer, bolt

Up top it's kind of hard to miss. The tensioner goes on the left, idler on the right, and I think the bolt holes are the only ones not used when the accessories and brackets are all installed but don't quote me on that

The tensioner is by itself I think. But I have like a washer behind the idler right now and I just want to see one together to double check everything to be sure. The one diagram I have shows the timing gear first on the crank and it just seems like it puts it in way to far and offset with the rest of it.

Washer on the idler? IIRC mine both came off by themselves.

The crank sprocket should line up straight. Test-fit a belt or a piece of rope or even a long belt-for-your-pants to show yourself. Yes it's close to the block but that's the way it is.

I figured it out. For some reason there was a spacer behind the idler pulley. Took that off and got it all set right and rotating. Build pic thread coming in a minute...
