i was examining the wiring going to my CKP sensor and I broke the wire going into this connector. Luckily I have about 200 of these extra connectors on hand. So, I crimped and soldered it back on, then locked it back into it's housing. I would just like to know what this thing does. Is this oil pressure or what?

It's just to the left and up from the crank sensor. It's on the side of the engine that faces you when you open the hood and it's at the bottom next to the transmission side.

the cmp sensor is on the other side of the engine at the top.

Thanks. I was looking on HMAService and I found something similar to it which was labeled as an oil pressure switch, but it was in the wrong place on the engine. the engine was actually a v6 though.
