Default my x3 problem

Small but big problem i have right now. I just moved to the north west area and I just bought an x3, but the car hasn't been touched since November of last mount. Ok right now my tail light (driver side) doesn't work when I turn on my lights, only the right one. But when I step on the breaks it comes on. I already tryed a new light bulb I'm confused right now... if anyone can help I appreciate it

Another thing is my driver side signal light doesn't work when lights are on but ( blinks) when I put the signal on!

I'm confuse so anything helps

Last year**

Check the security of the wiring to the taillight itself, especially the park circuit and all your grounds

Then check if the turn signal is getting power and earth and diagnose back towards the cabin/battery from there

Fixed it...

First I went to the junk yard to go get a new harness just to see if it would work... didn't not do the trick. So I found where my (passenger side) tail was getting itspower so I traced my way further in the car and found the wire that I spliced and connected to my tail light and that fixed everything my signal light and my gauge cluser with its lights out!
