Default My Upgraded TQ

Definate difference, is all i can say...although I haven't felt the full effect because I have to adjust the TB Cable, when i picked up my car...i drove off the lot and boom i could automatically feel the difference, wanna know whats scary? I never drive with Overdrive off....but it was on (The shop guys had it on) now just imagine this, i felt all this difference...with Overdrive on. When i switched it on...OOOOOOOH YEH...and might i remind everyone that this is a 1.8L 97 Tibs TQ...that i used to replace my original 2.0 01 Tib TQ because the US Postal Service lost it...and im guessing that the 1.8 97 Tib would be a little weaker internally (externally the same) probably just a different stall speed...and im guessing the 2.0 TQ would have seen an even bigger difference. GRRRRRR d*mn the postal service! OBEY YOUR UPS! They are god...

In the end how much did you end up spending?
(trying to see if a tranny swap would be cheaper)

Just for the torque converter...if i had sent it UPS in the first place...I would have spent around...680$ for all LevelTen.com services...and around 460 for shop...in reality i spent over 1500, because the US Postal service LOST my original Torque Converter. Earlier last night I raced a Celica GT-S...took him on startoff...but of course he took me later...the PTS System should fix that...that will cost around 2,000+, fortunately this time i have a replacement Transmission until i get the other one.

9o7TiB7o9 !!
If im not mistaken it might be a 2.0L TQ that you have because i had it replaced under warranty and they gave me a 2.0L tranny as i remember telling them!!
Not 100% sure though?

Wow hadnt seen a post here in any of mine in awhile...well when I had my tib it was, definate difference, if i didnt have to pay all those extra costs because of the Postal service losing my 2.0L TQ Converter in the first place i would have been more then satisfied, one thing i should have really tried to figure out was a small ringing sound that began about 3 weeks after i got it back...but yeh unfortunately i switched out my Tib for a WRX (missin my Tib, just the way it felt), im enjoyin the awd turbocharged powerhouse...but the tib was like my baby...but nope got a Pearl Blue Rexxy. All in all A+ for the overhauled TQ Converter, just make SURE you go UPS in every shipment.

*EDIT ADDED* Oh and expect the unexpected...as far as price goes...its 479$ or something around their for labor/overhaul job...but these guys are pretty funny and charged me another 100$+ for their drive over to UPS to drop off the package tongue.gif
