Red, thats funny that u say that...cuz i already saw your dyno run when i was there. They said i was the second Tibby that they dynoed and i asked if yours was the first and sure enough, it was. I definetly plan to get the s-afc, probably after christmas. When i do, i would definetly appreciate you helping me in tuning it!!

If you pick up the S-AFC, just let me know what day and I'll cruise down and help dial it in for you. It's a pretty simple deal, all you will need to do is aim for an air/fuel ratio of 13.5:1 and the car will love you.

I'd expect at least another 4 wheel horsepower if not more, especially on the new motor.

OK...after three weeks of waiting and hard work...i finally got my car back on the road...and the initial impressions is.....HOLY SH*T!!! There is a DEFINITE power difference. Although I am being very nice to my new engine, till it gets broken in...there is some really good power waiting to be released!! My new clutch from Vitek grabs like a S.O.B!!! I gain incredible acceleration from the flywheel and better breathing from PnP'd head. The sound is awesome as well!! Idle is a slightly rough..but that is due of the head and Intake Cam, and because it's not broken it yet..when my engine loosens up...so will the idle. I have to kinda re-learn how to drive my car...the clutch and flywheel combo have to mate at just the right moment upon takeoff in order for it not to disagree with what your doing. 2200 RPM is what it seems to like for take off...and once you get going.....YOUR GOING!!! The clutch and flywheel is VERY streetable...just takes some getting used too. I will developing some pics I took during this process and will let everyone know when I can send them....and then soon after it is broken in..the after Dyno!!!! Again, I will keep everyone posted!!!!

P.S. I do have some stock parts available for anyone who want to purchase. I know some of you may be interested in my stock head...I can have it ported n polished like mine by the same gentelman. And I will have the after Dyno soon so that you can see what kind of a gain it and all my other mods made. if you are interested let me know. Email me at cysco00@aol.com

Thanks

OK....here is an update....the engine is running strong!!!!! I went out this weekend to see how the new engine would fare..I got some good kills and I surprisingly was dead even with an Integra GSR, he had I/H/E and Clutch/Flywheel as well. I did get killed by an Eclipse GST though...hung in there till 3rd, then he just pulled on me!! Anyway...I have 1200 miles on the new engine....I am changing to synthetic oil tomorrow then the after Dyno on Thursday. I will keep everyone posted on my results!!

i'm a bit confused on the dyno sheet you posted. using the (torque x rpms)/5252 = horsepower equation, i can't get numbers consistent with your dyno sheet. if someone knows why, please explain, and email me if you post @ turbulence@hyundaiturbulence.net
