Made it myself, it gives the engine a real growl, doesnt even sound like a tibby anymore.

Sweet

forgot to mention about performance...

well i added the big wires and cai @ the same time so i am currently stupified by the increase in torque and power, this girl just pulls hard!. I love the sound and everyone is amazed @ the takeoff of the car now. With a powerlaunch (automatic) i actually get wheelspin for about 3 secs. WOw.

Yeah i really need to get the engine bay cleaned up, just dont have to time (work blah). Those small filters are for the other tubes that were leading to the old air box, i saw them on sale and bought them because it would have been harder to cut the pipe and weld places for them to go in, plus i think it gives the tb more air intake this way.

Yep i understand about the small filters.BTW are you planning to put any scoop for feeding cold air or sth??
Furthermore i have an air filter like you at my Random´s special Cai.The dealer told me that this filter is ok up to 150horses...
Do you think that with this airfilter your tib´s sucking enough quantity of air???

Hmmm...

Kos: i'll know by next oil change...so far i've not gotten any negative effects so far, if i have a doubt i will go for a k&n. Yeh i'm planning to get some cold air induction thru a hood scoop later on when i paint over the car.

Titanium: taped it on the side of a hose smile.gif

This may sound dumb but how does that help the engine take in cooler air?

I thought the intakes sucked in cold air from the outside instead of the hot air underneath the hood. ??????????

How is the idle? The back hose you didn't connect goes to the IAC motor which controls idle. IF it gets cold there your idle is probably going to suck. You could have bought one for a 92-95 Honda civic and it would have already had the hose hook ups.

u have to hook up the lines or ur cars not going to idle right so just drill a hole and go to home depot and buy a little fitting and get rid of that nasty looken filter. JUST A THOUGHT ??????????????????????
