So my clutch is on it's last puck, as it were. This week started the vibrations leading to death, and there isn't much life left in it. I now need a clutch! I was thinking maybe an ACT. I'd like to get a stage 2 clutch. Also a lightweight flywheel.

1.) Are XTD clutches good?
2.) Can you help me locate a good clutch kit for under 400$
3.) What are round about prices for a light flywheel?

Thanks guys.

Here you go sir, a link for ACT clutch kits. I would call them and special order, if you want to go with six puck race disc, for a SPRUNG clutch disc because all the six puck you see on the web site they are UNSPRUNG. Part # is 6214104 for the sprung six puck clutch disc.

Flywheel go with a Chrome - Molly. They are great and it cost me aroung 200 - 300 i dont remember correctly since it's been a while since i got it. These only way 11 lbs.

I have yet to try mine since i've been doing the tranny swap and changed flywheel, clutch + ss clutch line. Its a royal PITA to do it by yourself, trying to move the jack on dirt while lifting the tranny and trying to make it go in, I'm almost done though, just got to re-install the axels, brakes and wheels + add fluid and bleed the clutch. I've only put into this around 24 hours and a bunch of cuts and bruises.

If you plan on doing this have fun. laugh.gif

So I want a six puck then? I talked to my friend and he said that a six puck might be too much, especially an unsprung. I don't want to be like driving in a parking lot burning out my tires cause I'mtoo scared I'll kill it. I heard that once you upgrade clutches, it's like learning stick all over again.

BAH, darrell (deestibo) accidentally bought a clutch net red PP with a 6 puck unsprung hub ( one of their highest rated race only set) and I drove it while i was tuning it wasnt really that hard at all. A little more chattery than my Stage 3 gripforce 6 puck but not that hard. Youll have to get used to it but its no big deal.
