Never put much thought into making some others which is why I made the maths pubic. I guess when/if this works I'd have to see what it would take to produce a few more.

As far as N/A goes there very little benefit aside from possible aesthetics. And being CF/Kev/CF sandwich and aluminum air horns the cost would probably be higher than a used AIRRAM. Really hard to say. I'd hate to make any promises until I get some real data and dyno info which is still a good ways away.

Hell, I'm still waiting for my motor to be delivered.

i had an airram

yeah, no one else would probably buy one of these.. as the cars get older, people are investing a lot LESS cash. there are lots of things most people could spend money on better than a super efficient F/I IM. I praise you for your work and dedication but people would cry at a price of something like this.

On even a F/I engine it probably wouldn't make much of a difference for anyone who hasn't already covered all other bases (have motor built, turbo at peak efficiency, efficient exhaust setup, etc)

Here is common to find a Turbo Beta with Evo Intake Manifolds like Mangus, or AMS.

Oh no, there is no way this would benefit a stock head. At the bare minimum PnP and oversized intake valves would be a must. The entire goal is to increase flow so strapping this onto a stock head would be pointless especially without some kind of blower. On top of that with greater flow you'd probably just end up with wicked valve float on stock springs. Basically, this isn't a bolt on mod, there's bound to be a bunch of support needed to backup the IM.

THAT SAID, for NA apps *I* would buy a set of 07 GSXr 750 TBs off ebay ($100 all day) and fab up some ITBs using the same theories. Granted you'd have to figure out something for the MAF and still run some kind of fuel tuner.

I'm very tempted to hack up my spare manifold and make some ITBs.

There are commercially available MAF to MAP converters out there... I'm sure you could nig rig something to get the car running at any rate.

Well MAP should be pretty easy, take a vac line from each TB after the butterfly and run to a vac manifold then to the stock MAP sensor. You'd still need SAFC (and obviously a wideband for readings) or you'd be dangerously lean. But fabbing a fitment for the stock TPS should just be a matter of sheet metal and welding. Now for the Beta 1, since it has to run SAFC anyway, one would be best to change over to MAP or TPS readings. Mind you there's still the need for cooler air for either app rather than making your engine breath the congested, superheated, lung butter under the hood, so some kind of scoop to feed the TBs would be a good idea. Basically a $1.5-2k option all in.

It would be cool for looks and props from NA tuners, but hell on the wallet for comparatively small gains.

Those are the images I really needed from the AIRRAM

That's a respectable port with a nice wide opening and even, circular cuts. When I get off my lazy butt I'll get the images of the stocker up to compare.
