I was searching the net and saw this site that said it was possible for us to swap out our engines for the Mitsubishi engines. Is this true :?: If so what would we have to do to complete the swap :?: Oh and here is the web site that hinted at it. http://www.nippon-motors.com/index.htm Check it out and let me know.

with the right amount of money anything is possible.. but you'd get more power taking the money to do the swap and just using it to rebuild your engine to handle boost and to boost the hell out of it.

Isn't it also because the 4g63-T or other Mitsu engines have the tranny on the other side?? Not that that matters too much but it makes it more difficult and costs more $$$$

Don't ask me how, or where you would look, Dweet would be a good reference.
This was an OLD OLD post back in the day, from our site.
Some dude in Singapore did it.

Yeah, thats an Evo VIII... I think the tranny in those cars is driver-side as well. He could've messed around with the AWD and changed to FWD... that usually creates problems though for the money it saves.

Engine Swap to an Evo VIII is probably going to be 7,000 or so... you can make a Tibby uber-sweet with that money. 7,000 for 210whp isn't that great. lol.gif
