So, I installed the 1.8 cam last night, after that the car drove fine for about twenty minutes. Then, the CEL was blinking, I pulled over to an advance auto parts and ran the code through, came up with misfire in cylinder one. I checked my plugs, they were changed roughly 10,000-15,000 miles ago. But, the spark plug wire going to cylinder one has a small tear in it, could this cause the problem?

just for reference, in ANY OBDII vehicle a flashing CEL means a misfire detected (usually enough to cause damage to your catayltic converter, in our case it means misfire in at least one cylinder detected at more than 2% per 1,000rpms). So no need to check the code at vatozone unless you are worried about OTHER codes.
