Shyloh just bought this, along with the SR headers (I think 4-2-1), and found out that the exhaust was about 6" too short. You will have to have a small pipe welded in somewhere to extend the exhaust 6"

That exhaust does NOT have a cat, it is a "cat back". You would have to either relocate your cat, or replace your cat with a high flow unit.

I'll be doing the same thing....actually just payed for the MBRP friday...have to wait to order headers though.

I wonder if a small piece of flex exhaust tube would work...would be nice since i have some extra laying around...hmmmm...I'm sure it won't 'cause that would be too easy.. frown

well I have the mbrp speedstate exhaust, 4-1 headers and high-flow cat. Acutally it works out pretty good, cause the cat will close the distance between the exhaust and headers.
you can check out some pics of what I did at
photos.yahoo.com/phage109/

hope it helps, if you have any questions, just email me or post.

Decker - Do you have any sound files of your setup? Just wondering 'cause I would like to know what mine will sound like when I get all the parts together.

I think that file is only the catback though. I want to hear it with intake/headers/highflow cat/MBRP exhaust. I bet the thing must GROWL! hehehe....
