maybe a dumb question about auto trans.
i saw some guy selling his automatic transmission on eBay and i was wondering if it's practical to think about changing from automatic to standard. i'm guessing it's probably possible to do but is it one of those things that just isn't worth it? if anyone has done this before and has some insight i'd really appreciate it, especially if anyone knows how much a change like this would cost. thanks.

At the time I open your post, there was another post 2 lines down titled "Trans Swap".
It's about swapping a transmission. wink
There have been a number of people who have done it--do a search here on "transmission swap" and you'll uncover a whole lot of info on the procedure, requirements, problems & solutions.
