Default LSDs?

Could someone clear up the differential stuff for me or provide me with a link that could explain it?

From what I understand or have read automatics don't use LSDs? is that correct or no? If not then what is there for the autotragics?

So just to double check here, from what I understand if quaffie were to make a LSD for the manual it would still be able to be put in an automatic, I checked out the webtech website as well and from all the knowledge that I've gained they look identical.

But I was just going to check.

This was all leading up to my final question about the differential problem with the tiburon being a problem in both A/T and M/T.

Thanks Random

No, the same LSD will NOT work in an automatic. The inner workings are significantly different.

I do not know if the Auto's have the same problems as the manuals, as no one has YET put that much power through an auto.

A level10 upgrade for your tranny is your best bet if you plan on putting serious power through the autotranny.

That is going to be my plan now, to hopefully do a turbo install with one of the many kits that will be available at that time, as well as the Level 10 upgrades.

Maybe I'll just be the test dummy autotragic rolleyes.gif

What about the 600 hp twin engine turbo tib from sport compact car. Is he running without a LSD? He was a twin autotragic.

I would think that would be different though, it would have to have two differentials for each engine I would guess. But I have no idea how that car is truely setup.
