Default losing power

Hey guys, i have a problem with my tibby, i feel like recently, my tibby has been losing power...like when im in some gears, its starts like trying to like skip or something. and thats never happened before....help me

Is it lagging or what or does it feal like a transmission slip.

well sometimes i feel that at lower RPMs some gears tend to slip or skip, whereas they never did that before

Raver-

you do have a 1998. How many miles are on it?

Have you ever changed out the manual tranny gear oil?

Have you ever bled out the clutch?

Any signs that your clutch is slipping, or is it the gears missing, or does it feel like the engine lurching?

i know exaclty what your talking about turbo tib,i feel like during the day my car will go faster in reverse with the heat down here but whenever nightfalls its like i have a hole new car...and my tranny is slipping also..but i know all to well about that seeing how this is my 2nd gen elantra and i have had 5 tranys and a circitry and wireing between the 2 cars ....i guess im a little hard on it huh

yeah i got a 98, and no i havent changed the gear oil...i might have to do that huh. anyway, i havent bled the clutch either, and no it doesnt feel like my gears are slipping...i mean sometimes i'll throw the shifter into a gear and it might pop out but i thought that was b/c of the shortshifter i just threw in...

well u got a great deal i have a 97 with originally 24000 but i now habe 57000...treat her well
