well if you have the 2.0, a stock set of 1.8's work.

I am almost ready to add Wiseco Pistons to the website, for 2.0L Beta1

Comp ratio is 8.7-9.0

Is that high enough or you looking for higher

It is the beta1 2l. Can I just put the 1.8 pistons in and get 11-1? I really want 12-1, if the bore is 82mm then any 82mm piston will work right?

i believe the 1.8L pistons wil get you 11.3:1 compression ratio.. and they would pretty much drop right in.. if i ever get another tib, i will be running N/A with those pistons, and a bunch of other goodies..

milling the head can get you some higher compression but can also mess up the quelch area if not done right

a machine shop can tell you whats recommended

Yeah, and you also have to change the OEM head gasket for the Beta2 head gasket.

If you are aiming to higher than 11,3:1 you have to get some kind of ECU tuning; I don't think your ECU will manage that compression (it should change your emissions a bit) by its own.

And I don't think any 82mm piston will do mate... for starters the 2.0 is a 82mm piston and compression is lower isn't it? It depedns on the top of the piston design; BUT you also have to figure out piston pin configuration, skirt size, very important: weight, etc, etc; so NO; NOT ANY 82mm PISTON WILL DO.
