Default The LIST!!!

Hi guys...
You all have been informed by Turboman about my Tib.Well it produces 190BHP N/A...
Here is my mods list!

I swapped my engine (Beta 1.6L) with a Beta 2.0L...and then...

1)Overbored & polished throttle body...
2)Overbored & polished Intake Manifold...
3)Ported & and polished cylinderhead...
4)Increased compression by polishing some 10ths of millimetres (which my mechanic won't tell me the exact number)...
5)So increased compression ration...
6)Some work has been done with the stock pistons...(He hasn't told me what exactly)...
7)Cams from the 1.6L Beta engine I used to have..
8)Sensors and ECU of the 1.6L engine...(due to immobilizer and newer management)...
9)Changed all the gaskets and seals with newer ones...
10)Gearbox of the 1.6L Tib...
11)Heavy Lightened and balaced the flywheel (of the 1.6L)...
12)Lightened and balanced Crank...(not very much)
13)Reprogrammed ECU...(still tuning)
14)Bigger fuel injectors...
15)Still running with stock (2.0L) fuel pump...
16)Full 4-1 exaust...(from Popey...turboman can give you more info on that)
17)Changed the catalyst with Americat free flow...(actually all the exaust is free flow)...
18)Replaced the stock intake with imota Top Gun paper cone...
19)Changed the clutch with VALEO 215....it does handle the extra power!!!

that all I can remember up to now...

The car is as fast a a rocket! I have 0-100kms at mid 6ths...Still waiting for the final tuning and new tires because my Tib has eaten them really bad...

Problems....
I can't stop the wheel spin, maybe I need a new suspension...
I can't stop the car draging left-right really bad when I accelerate promptly...
My car even spind the 4-th gear!
Fuel cosumption is big...
If I try to squeez more power the tunning becomes really tough because of pinging..So I have to use a fuel-octane booster..
Keep in mind that I always use Super-Unleaded gas with 98octanes....It is expensive but it make a difference..especially when I give much advance to the ECU...

Thats for now... Tell me you opinios..
(The car has been dynoed several times at dynomet and it produces 190 horses at the wheels!! Probably more to come soon!!!)

Guys, I am waiting...

Tasos,

Fuel consumption is greatly reduced due to the injectors and the CPU, right?

In the case of a turbo charged 2.0L beta, is consumption greatly reduced compared to stock?

I was looking in turbo charging, but I use my Tib for daily use.

Did u mean that fuel consumption is increased? I think there is no way those mods could reduce fuel consumption. smile.gif

Yes Turboman Is completely right! The 1.6L cams are SUPER eek.gif eek.gif eek.gif !!
Yes in greece the Turbulance model came out only with a 1.6L BETA engine. It had a compresion ration of 9.84:1 and a very good horse power of 116horses eek.gif which is fantastic for such a small compression ratio rolleyes.gif ...
Many guys here do a light turbo (0.5Bars) without a head gasket...They leave the compression intact and play with the fuel management. The result is good and cheap...
BUT if you want something really good the you have to upgrade to the 2.0L...
As for fuel cosumption it is increased, if you have a heavy right foot ! LOL!!!

Guys, I am waiting for you opinions about my project...
