How have you ordered one when they dont make them to fit the euro spec MAP sensors only the MAF sensors??
I believe the phrase is "Damn the Torpedo's!! FULL SPEED AHEAD!!! (water/submersible reference intended.)How have you ordered one when they dont make them to fit the euro spec MAP sensors only the MAF sensors??
The correct question would be "WHY", not "HOW". But I think the same answer applies.!

i use the term 'ordered' very loosely.
am getting one v. cheap. What exactly are the physical differences between the US MAF system and the UK MAP system....i dont want an explanation of how they work but more of an idea where the positioning of sensors differs...
AFAIK the diameter of the pipe is suitable and there is an 02 sensor in the standard airbox which is relocated to the pipework of the intake....
am i wrong?

Yeh the picture below shows the MAF sensor housing that the piping is designed to incorperate. The are very very few Euro spec carsthat have this so if you buy it, from that point up you will need to fabricate something yourself. And i belive the US models still have the air temp sensor(its not an o2 sensor)
The Pics are of KAYJAY's engine bay there the best ones i could find to show that sensor housing.
