About a month ago I got the transmission scanned and it turns out that the kick down servo switch is open, so I'll need the part put on. They quoted me $212 parts and labor because they have to take the transmission out. This has been a problem for quite some time because my tranny has been shifting kind of high even under moderate acceleration (3,500-4K RPMS). I'm just wondering if anyone else had to get this fixed, and if the transmission runs a lot better afterwards. I have gotten my tranny flushed before after the wrong tranny fluid was put in, and then put the good stuff in, and it ran slightly better. I just hope this kickdown switch will have my tranny running a lot smoother.

So I got the kickdown put in and the 1-2 shift is SOOOO much smoother. You can't even feel it. My guess is that at full throttle, I won't be bouncing off the rev limiter anymore. The rest of the shifts are less jerky, but I still get some weird slippage in 2-3 shift. I don't know what it could be, maybe my tranny is just dying on me? But I'm glad the transmission is running a lot better. I haven't had tranny maintenance since I bought the car almost 10K miles ago, and I dont know what kind of tranny maintenance has been performed on the Tib (if any) so I think before the winter is over I'm going to undergo some tranny maintenance.
