I notice that in the K.O.R.E. online store that most (if not all) of the engine parts are not listed as available for the '97 Tiburon. Is there some sort of huge difference between the '97 and '98? I know you guys are always talking about the different engines, beta and such, and I'm at a complete loss as to what that's all about. I'd take the time to research it, but I've got some midterms and crap coming up in school, and I trust you guys more than I'd trust the masses anyways. So if you guys could clue me in on what the deal is, that'd be great, cause I was really disappointed that the '97 seemed to have limited capabilities, as far as the parts in the online store goes. And just in case you guys need to know, my car is a '97 Tiburon FX. Much obliged gentlemen.

trust me bro there is a hella lots of parts for the tib in korea, the problem is only knowing how to import them here to the US. There will be a store opening on http://www.hyundaiperformance.com soon so stay tuned..

 

Tiburons (including the FX) from 1997 - 2001 all have the same BETA engine...although some have the 2.0L version and others have the 1.8L one. Engine parts for one model year within the range will work on any Tiburon within the range.

 

With the exception of "Revision-A" tiburons that cannot use a "standard" style CAI. The AOS CAI works on the "Revision-A" tiburons.

Closing thread. The Kore Motorsports Forums would be a much better place to discuss their products that the Team Shark Racing Forum. They would also be able to give you better feedback/Reasons as to why certian parts might not fit certian cars.
