K&N problems
Just out of curiosity... where did you place the "intake" on this kit? Unless it is fairly close to the front of the car.. or at the least, in front of the plastic "spoiler" that hangs down below the front bumper.. you care not going to get my airflow through that tube.

I suggest you take a look at this file:
http://www.kandn.com/instructions/57-0383.pdf (I already posted it); Personally I attached the tube right behind the wind deflector; but it dosen`t cover the tube actually, so I have suficient air in that area. One more thing I was thinking about was a hood ala Subaru Impreza WRX; and a custom box for the filter; that way I would get LOADS of fresh air - the only problem is Heavy snow during the winter here where I live.
yea, you probably just have the maf on backwards. easiest way to tell is look at the maf, there should be a plastic screen on one end. that should be pointing towards the front of the car (connected to the air filter). also are you getting in cels? you might have inadvertantly damaged the actual sensor.

There is an arrow imprinted on the MAF. It should be pointing towards the TB/Intake Manifold.
It is printed on the outside part of MAF (Plastic) - right?
I just checked; there is absolutely no indication on the senzor which side is corect; no arrows, no nothing :?:

like i said yank off the maf and look at which side the screen is on. if the screen is facing your tb its on backwards, if the screen is facing your filter is on right.
What screen? The inside part of the MAF looks like a small black Safetypin; surrounded by 4 plastic "toothpicks", which are conected at the top above the sensor with a 0,5 inch in diameter plastick "disc"
-Also I am not geting any CEL warning lights.
Do you have a pic of your MAF or can you take one please? -I wanna see if we have the same one.

After looking over the PDF it does not show where or how to reinstall the temp sensor. Or am I missing something? Igor, where have you located the temp sensor? It originaly was in the side of the air "box".
-Edit-
Alright I see where you put the sensor back in oops.gif . Did you put the sensor back in completly?

. Did you put the sensor back in completly? The sensor is now attached to the lower part of the filter cone (there is a hole there); and yes the sensor is very firmly attached to it.

So was the sensor not in before? Just hard to tell from your post :? . Also have you tried reseting your ECU since you installed this?

Igor, remove the MAF and look all over it. If you have it installed wrong you will not see the arrow since it will be on the bottom. The arrow is normally on top when it is installed properly.
