I had been using the 8,8 mm magnacore wires that I bought from Sharkracing. They were still in good shape.. but the Bosche Platinum +4 plugs were not so lucky. Honestly, I am unsure how the car was able to run, let alone run as well as it did. There was NO centre electrode left on any of the plugs! They were a nice burnt brown colour though, indicating a complete burn.

Now I get to see if my performance and miliage go up. Went with NGKs and the PRD wires.

Do some testing on the wires when you can.

when I bought my car and in a while checked plugs, there were no electrods too. There was huge gap but the car was running very good.

How many miles are on your car, because I had the same problem the 3rd time I started my Tib up after I had bought it, but I was getting a missfire.

112,000 miles (give or take 200 miles). I had her out today, except for all the buzzing from the broken exhaust, she did not appear to have any more power.. but the annoying HP dip around 4 to 5 grand is gone.
