Default Intakes - Which is better?

'sup guys?

Was wondering which Cold Air Intake is best suited for the 2001 Hyundai Tiburon (AT)? I just want the best for my baby...

I know you guys might say that it's by preference and such, but which CAI has been known to sort of stand-out from the rest of the CAIs?

As far as looks are concerned, Injen looks the best in my opinion. If you want the most HP gains, AEM is giving the best gains right now.

I have the Injen and I love it. Sounds great and it's a two piece with the polished elbow too. AEM is better for performance I believe, with probably 2-3hp over the Injen. Most likely because it's a "true" CAI.

hundred bucks says random comes in here throwin around advertisements for the SR CAI thats due in the third week of august....o wait. rolleyes.gif

looks goes to injen, i dig polished and shiny stuff, but AEm has got like 8 hp gains, it all depends on your priorities, looks or performance, for me it was perofrmance but i cant afford AEM's prices so i got AOS instead, 5 hp gain is my assumption, no one has a dyno sheet of AOS,i sound and feel faster at least rolleyes.gif

For performance It seems AEM is standing out. AEM calimes 8.1 HP gain. I've seen a dyno showing 11-12 HP gain on hyundaiPerformance.com.

I just ordered one for 189.95 the AOS goes for 150 not that big a difference.

Of course there are the others that have been "coming out soon" I have waited a LONG time for a couple of compineis. Not waiting any more.
Look into the AEM.
