Elantra is the only other Hyundai car to use the "beta" motor.

The IM and TB are the same from the 1.8L and the 2.0L, so don't let engine size fool ya!

Right now, I don't autocross at all anymore. With stock tires and stock suspension, I was spending to much time fighting the car.

I've got some suspension/wheel upgrades on order, and once I get them installed, I will be back into autocross again.

kmhj,
make sure the one you order is off an Automatic if you have an automatic. If you have a manual, either will work.

Also, make sure that if you have cruise, the one you are getting has cruise as well. The TB has a second rotor arm for the cruise mechanism that non-cruise cars do not have.

Luckily, I had a manual without cruise, so it did not matter which TB mechanism I got. But I did exactly what you are doing: ordered a tb and intake manifold from a junkyard and shipped them to Onpol for the machine work. Well worth it!
