I've seen that in a magazine, makes your car look like it has a turbo intercooler. But for 219bux its quite pricey for just a CAI with out the piping to the throttle body. SR is comming out with their version of the KORE CAI and is supposodly less than kore-motorsport's
You could always go buy some sheet metal and form your own...this will be better because of our little working space under there. I thought about doing this a while back also...But wondered if it would be more effective than my current CAI?.?

I already have KORE's and love it, I just thought this was kinda wierd and would show everyone. It says it comes with everything I just dont think the pic shows all the piping. Of course its also for a Honda...

Rice, pure and simple.
Adding another 2 or 3 feet to the intake tubing is not a good idea for performance. Neither is blocking off a signifcant portion of the radiator.
If it were a real intercooler, air could flow through it. Air is not going to have as easy of a time flowing through the gaze paper, and out the other side to find your radiator.
