Yeah it will work fine. People run into problems when their IM is a small size than the TB not the other way. I have the AirRam IM and the RSide TB. The IM is at 68 I beleive and the TB is at 61 and it works fine with no problems!
Well look at it this way. You have the CAI and then the TB at say 61mm. So all of this air is filling that 61mm TB and then hitting a "wall" in the difference in size between 61mm down to lets say 58mm. So that extra 3mm the air coming in is just hitting it and most likley causing a definatly not smooth and efficient air flow.

Well, that's the way mine is now, STOCK IM and 61MM BBTB. Any problems?

Would it be better with an airram or BIM?
MOST DEF.
The biggest issue is turbulence that you'd be making with the air hitting that ledge, you want smooth turns, smooth junctions, and fast unturbulent air.
