Just like the topic says. I put that tb on today and now when you push in the clutch to approach a stop the motor wants to idle surge for about 10 sec and then settles down. Anyone know what the hell is causing this problem..

Well me and silertibbs were talking and seem to think it might be caused by the butterfly being a shade to small for the bore of the throttle body opening.

Also check if the TPS is connected properly, if the conectors are clean, and if every hose/silicone coupler, is really tight.

If the idle bounces up and down a few times before settling down, the problem is the idle adjust screw has the TB open too far.

If the Rev's "hang" at say 2500/3000 rpm and don't drop for several seconds, check the throttle cable, and adjust just a tad bit o slack in it.

If you've done both of the above and STILL have the problem, check for proper sealing between the TB and IM, and check the TPS for proper operation.

did you buy the the TB at 58mm or did you bore out the stock? If bored, where/what kind of place could I take my stock TB to get it bored?
