at best a true CAI is only as cold as it is outside so depending on what time of year it is it might be either a hot, warm, or cold air intake. so there is no such thing as a COLD Air Intake. atleast not all the time. rolleyes.gif

Warm Air Intake.LOL! I too have the AOS Intake and love it. The last time I checked heat rises, and lot of the engine department heat is generated on the top. The AOS and Injen may not be way down in the fender well, but it is still A TRUE CAI. A car cannont get HP gains sucking up warm air.
No one is saying you're not going to see gains, because anything over the stock system will show gains, putting a filter on the end on the MAF and you'll see gains. I see nothing wrong with the Injen or the AOS intakes. BV1 for one had an AOS on his car and switched to one of our custom ones, and swears there is a difference.

don't these cold air intakes make like only 5 hp difference.

With the our design (RSS CAI) you will feel more torque with an exhaust setup.
