I'm troubleshooting a problem with my car and going through all the TSBs. This TSB does not effect the ECU Part number from my car. I just thought someone might like to see this as others are having this problem
I had to reformat it a bit because it won't direct copy.

Very interesting! My car does exhibit all these symptoms, yet it is a 2001 Tiburon. I think I must have caused it when I replaced the ECU from a 1998 Elantra 1.8L.
So note to those who have done a 1.8L ECU swap, either get the right part number ECU, or be prepared for this to happen. (Scares you pretty good the first few times, but then you get used to it. And it only does it every 10,000 miles or so, so it's not frequent at all.)

I've had this happen a few times to me, last time being probably 12,000 miles ago. Oh and it sure scared the crap outta me when it first happened. I was on I-84 in PA doing probably 80mph.
Also I'm pretty sure I got the right part number 1.8lECU that was listed here somewhere.

Mine does this and i have a 2001 with only a CAI, also sometimes it wants to bog itself down to 400rpm and barley keep alive when i have the clutch in or in neutral. any ideas?? ((((NEVERmind sorry i read a couple topics that could help me, sorry)
