My Tib wouldn't crank. I was driving it just fine, the clutch pedal felt a bit resistant. I drove it to class but coming out of class, it would not crank. I am getting power to the car via battery and it won't start when pushed-started. I have it at the mechanic now, but the mechanic isn't sure what's going on.

It's been suspected the clutch safety switch is out, but that's not it. Any suggestions? If it is the ignition switch, any means to do it myself? I'm broke as it is.

check fuses and relays in the engine compartment as well as the ones in the passenger compartment, you may have blown a fuse or a fusable link.

mod please move to engine & trans. DIY is for posting directions on how to do something complete with pictures and tools necessary.

never had that problem happen but it could be a number of reasons. do you have a check engine light? i bet it's an easy fix but it could be a fluid issue.
