The muffler creates backpressure. To little back pressure can lower torque and decrease your gas mileage. I suggest you put your stock muffler or aftermarket muffler back on.

What do you think if i cut a hole large enough for the IAT sensor in my CAI tube and sealed it with some silicon? I haven't done it yet 'cause i thought that extra sensor in the tubing will obstruct the air flow and create turbulance meaning possible lower hp figures but i'm not sure what a drag coefficant would be on that IAT and maybe i'm overreacting! tongue.gif RICH-

Rich, cutting the hole would be best. If you re-use the gasket that was included in the stock airbox, then you do not need to worry about sealing.
The accuracy that the IAT and MAF provide when working properly, far exceeds the small decrease in flow that the IAT may cause.
