Default Idle air bypass bosch thingie :) FYI

Ok, i had a question(which was answered) about the litte bosch motor ontop of your IM, and for all those who don't know what it does(i didn't) its a Idle air bypass, it stuffs air into your intake manifold when your butterfly valve is completely closed.
They're pretty mutch bulletproof so don't worry about having to replace them. When your car's idling it'll hum like a bumblebee wink sounds cool smile.gif

Its the little Bosch labelled round thingie onto of the IM.

That's a good explanation of what it does, but what's your question, man?

That little thing is called a IAC (Idle Air Control). The main purpose is do adjust ldle as per condiction, wether it is weather, air density, and engine wear.

And one of the reasons the Intake Manifold is different between the two engines.
