So Go To The Bus Stop And My Trans Decided To Pop Out Of Gear And Start Smokin So My Trans Is Officially GONE. So Its $350 For A Used Trans But Long Behold Here It Is Christmas And I Cant Buy The Sh*t I Want For My Family Because Of This Sh*t. Never Dropped A Trans So Its Gonna Be An Experience And A Half.....Gotta Love The Luck...

Sorry to hear about the bad timing. It's not that bad, it can be done, just make sure you get someone to help with dropping/lifting the tranny

well im from dingmans ferry, pa 18328

my uncle said he could do it in a day. im just gonna get the trans put a new filter in and run some lucas trans additive through the new trans so it can start a healthy life. anything else i should replace while doin the trans?

Ah it's an auto..... explains it all lol. Make sure the new trans is from your model, so you have an RD1 so the trans has to be from 97-99. Also make sure to fill it with hyundai ATF only!

^+1 Hyundai ONLY on the ATF. The new filter right off the bat is a good idea BTW.
