I believe a previous thread (search) mentioned that it functions very well being one piece and free of resonators. The downside is price for what you get since it doesn't take much unskilled labor to modify your own stock intake (I did mine with duct tape and a soldering iron). Unless something like that is designed to be an air scoop, I think the consesus is a CAI gets you the most performance for not much more cake. -Tron

 

I've got the CAI from Hyundai vehicle enhancements and i think its worth while.

i've got it on my 1st gen tib.
before when i didn't have it i could just crack over 200Kmh down this one road before i run out of room afterwards 220kmh was too easy!! its easy to install aswell fits on to the stock airbox with a bit of cutting with a hack/jig saw.
alot lighter than the other system...

its common sense realy
mind you don't expect fast service!

 

I saw the pictures of the Other CAi posted and seems a lot of them have a few bends ands such. It would seem the HVE CAI is a pretty straight shot into the Filter and then it's only the one extra bend to the TB.

The stock inttake goes from A-B with a lot of extra bends and restiction.

Seems the HVE still goes from from A-B just not the scenic route.

I plan on getting that one with a K&N drop in.

 

What a waste of carbon fiber. I like the duct tape idea. Much more cost effective.
