Default how often do you check your oil?

Someone mentioned to me the other day I'm OCD about my car because I check my oil every single time I get gas, which is around once a week. How is making sure your engine is operating properly and checking the oil being OCD? So Im asking you all to see if anyone else checks their oil as much as I do, or more.

Only when I change it. Maybe it's because I only have 15,000 miles on my car, or b/c I change it every 2 months.

Out of the hundreds of times you've checked your oil, how often have you identified a problem with it being low, dirty, or anything else that causes concern?

I'd say 25% of the time I at least pop my hood and make sure everything is still connected - hoses I've messed with, coolant levels, things I've moved, CAI filter (fell off once, not easy to get it secured).

I can hear HLAs tick when the oil gets low, and almost anything else that could go wrong with the oil system is extremely unlikely. My car barely uses any oil, so I check it just about never.

I elongated the dipstick and can check it when driving. For some reason it always reads low when the car is running/moving.
