Does the radiator support need to be welded on, or is it bolt on? I'm not talking about those little plastic pieces, I'm talking about the entire front/top area.

It PROBABLY has a ton of little spot welds, get a spot weld remover and a high powered drill and goto town... I'm actually not sure about our cars but all the other cars that we had to replace core supports on they were like that.

If you are talking about the corner support like I had to replace on my car when it was hit in the front by a bus then have fun. Theres alot of spot welding and calking( not sure if thats spelled right) then you have to make sure its in the perfect right spot or your front end will never go together... So like Kustomized said..Get a hammer..a drill...putty knife and about 2 days and some beer.

^^ I know you're talking about something else. I've got to replace the flat piece of metal that sits above the radiator and the piece that goes straight down in front of the radiator.

^^ Probably a body shop just make sure they don't screw you over with garbage parts.

and x2 on if you dont do it in the right spot your front end will never go together right.

DTN how bad is yours? could you not use puller to get it straight again and some other tools to pound whatever out of it?

The part where the horn mounts is good, but the top is bad.

here's a link to the one I purchased yesterday

the only reason you should be replacing that is if your alignment is off (e.g. your hood doesn't latch, or doesn't line up with your headlamps or corner lights, etc.)

Mine's a little bumpy along the top too but everything is still aligned right.

and to answer your question, no this is not a "bolt-on" item. It's welded to your frame.

I could bang it out, but there's no way in heck I'd do that. I'll have it replaced.
