Now that my block is almost put back together, I chased the threads on the head bolts and used a tap to clean off threads on block, now do I take a bottle of brake cleaner and spray the holes with it while the block is upside down, then use air for the rest to get all the junk out?

 

Air, then brake clean, then air.

 

Wear eye protection. That brake cleaner is wicked stuff.
