But as Stocker said engines are cheap..... I found one on carparts just now with 12k for $400, I'm sure you can find one in your area.

Well I've been planning to buy a new car for awhile now, so my plans are to take almost all the performance stuff off the tib and take her back to stock (or at least her old N/A form). In the meantime, once the new car is bought, I'll look into getting her a new engine. I don't think I can completely get rid of her. smile.gif

I've been told that crankwalk is virtually non-existant on the rd2's. There was mention of thrust bearings being installed backwards in a large batch of rd1's one of the threads above mentioned, I believe. Any comments on this? I'm thinking I'll just get an engine from an rd2 to be safe anyways.

Anyways, she WILL live on.
