what does the Hold warning lite on the guage cluster mean?

It is my understanding that the "HOLD" button is a feature we do not get in the USA. Korean tibbies get it. I do not remember what it is, but someone posted it over at Fxtreme many, many moons ago. It was something to do with the Automatic tranny, and holding it in one gear, preventing upshifts and downshifts if I remember right....

i had a 93 rx-7 that was an auto that i pickedup 2 sell for some profit and it had that on the auto tranny basically u held it in gear, kinda like going 1-2-D
