Default Hmmm..What to do now..

So I went to 2 muffler shops today to get a quote on how much it would cost to get a custom exhaust piping (i already have a muffler).
Both shops had basically the same thing:
Told the guy i wanted to upgrade my piping from stock to 2.25. Cut about 10" back away from the o2 sensor so i get the same readings..First the guy thinks my cat is where my resnator actually is. So hes like cant do it. After I show'n'prove he quickly moves on to say he still couldn't do it any way. Says upgrading the pipes will throw off the sensor anyway, an more fuel will be thrown in to my motor-exhaust. They wont do it because they would be liable for my "motor".
I didn't bother going to Midas because they blow! I got my oil changed went to Pep Boys, just asked the nut at the desk an he said they cant/wont do things like that...GOD!
I need an alternative. Im not paying 350+ for a catback. I can damn near get me some headers for that.
Why-Oh-Why...Jibber got his on an running no problem SEE!

Minute Muffler....Not sure we have one of them locally.

But how about did you get your exhaust.. catback, or a lil off the o2 sensor. An is your car still running fine no problems, like the nuts said???

I have a 2001 Tib SE. The 2nd cat underneath the car is completely removeable. Mines running fine, no 02 sensor to worry about.
