The girlfriend just got an 01 tib, the previous owner had done some work, I checked it out and it all seemed clean enough. It had a polished auminium 3" intake with yellow boots and hoses and a ractive filter and a HKS decal on the side. The upper boot (from the tb to the maf sensor) was still factory, then there were 2 aluminium pipes attached together with a yellow boot. I originally thought it was assembled improperly and that the MAF sensor should be in between the peices of pipe. I jumped on the HKS website to look at how they remonded it be assembled and I couldnt find one on there for the RD tibs, only the v6's. So... did there used to be HKS intakes for the early tibs that are now discontinued or is this an ebay intake with a decal on it? Or is this a hack job off another car altogether. If it is real does anybody know how it should be put on there?
