It sounds to me you have a problem with the clutch or transmission rather than intake??

Just wondering...how you do hear the noise from the TB....when you are in 5th gear at 3000 RPM flying down the road? Is it really that loud?

How did you pin-point the sound to the Throttle body from the drivers seat while going down the road?

You cannot hear the noise in neutral? So if you pop your hood, and play with the throttle, you cannot re-produce the noise?

Then yes...If it is that loud that you can hear it over the road noise at freeway speeds...then you should have it looked at right away.

Just wondering...do you have the stock airbox or a CAI? What design/system do you use?

ok ill answer evryquesion here.. individually smile.gif try to pinpoint it

as for could it be maybee clutch or transmission. when i pop the gas peddle in any gear except neutral i hear teh screach not the normal one associated with the conical filter

would teh clutch feel any different at all.
it does not slip any

ok randon well to narrow it down a little more i have noticed it is only when the gas pedel is depressed at a certain distance from the floor so this noise can start at 2500 or it can start at 4k but goes away after i remove teh gas pedal from this position

i have pin pointed it to the throttle body for the fact that one it wasnt their before

if i play with the trottle with the hood popped i can not hear this as i cant hear it while teh car is in neutral it must be in gear

right now i have a cone on the end of my maf sensor.

it is loud that you can definettly hear a fair ways .

The clutch could behave ok and sound can come from a ball bearing at certain speed. Check that also.
