if the engine is deprived of air, it will go into higher idle...

you can also check your intakes

Throttle Position Sensor
its connected to the TB
i believe it lets the computer know how open or closed the TB is

Thanks Hobgoblin... I will ask about the meaning of TPS... Something new that I learn today..

I also think that you should check the TPS.... as everyone saids... and in the way, check the fluids....

At in the worst cases, maybe the clutch disk don't get separate from the Flywheel.... so it keeps REVS....

Just check... it's not normal...

also take the idle speed controller off the intake manifold, and clean it with brake cleaner, and let it dry out for an hour, sometimes it gets dirty.
