no, the worst thing that could happen is when driving home you pass a nuclear power plant, and a crack opens up in the ground. All the sudden godzilla comes out of the crack and everyone runs in panic leaving their cars in place. You're stuck in miles of traffic, and Godzilla starts breathing fire all over everything including melting down the nuclear power plant. Then the government decides using WMD is the best alternative to get rid of the godzilla problem, and everything within a 50 mile radius is destroyed. Nuclear winter ensues and anything that is left is deformed.

Unless the timing belt is the one shredding. A dead motor is almost as bad as Godzilla.

timing belt has less than 60k miles on it. I can't remember if it was replaced at 68k or ~90k. I'm at 128,000 now
